Features:

   •       Radiolucent, can be unilocular or multilocular

   •       Tends to grow along the medullary cavity of the jaw with minimal expansion initially

   •       Often has well-defined, smooth, or scalloped margins

 

Demographics:

   •       Wide age range, with a peak in the second and third decades

   •       Slight male predilection

 

Presentation:

   •       Often asymptomatic until large

   •       May present with swelling, pain, or tooth displacement
