Features:
• Unilocular radiolucency surrounding the crown of an unerupted or impacted tooth (often mandibular third molars or maxillary canines)
• Well-demarcated, corticated borders
Demographics:
• Occurs in a wide age range but commonly diagnosed in the second or third decade
• Slight male predilection
Presentation:
• Typically asymptomatic, discovered on routine imaging
• May present with a painless jaw swelling or delayed tooth eruption
